User Profile

I was born in secret, in a dark, dusty Mexican prison cell in the heat of August. My mother had hidden her pregnancy while serving time for allegedly trafficking drugs across the U.S. border. She had been raped by a federal agent when apprehended nine months earlier. Or maybe I was just born to a pair of run of the mill Presbyterian republicans in a small college town in Illinois. I can’t remember which anymore; it was so long ago. I do, however, remember something about corn fields.

Fast forward to college.

Once upon a time, I was a young fundamentalist Christian destined for a glorious career in the ministry…until I decided that god either doesn’t exist, or is basically an asshole. I then became an idealist who wanted to change the world one person at a time as a counselor…until I decided that fucked up people just suck, as does being poor. Meanwhile I came to the realization that although girls were alright, boys are better.

Now I tend toward the artsy side of life. I like creating things, writing/playing music, working with my hands, engaging my imagination, losing my inhibitions.

I posted a few songs from my old band at on MySpace under the band's name, "Situation Gray" (that would be me on the lead guitar and vocals). I have a personal profile on MySpace as well if you want to see more pics of me or whatev. It's under the user profile CultureJammerZero.

Recently I moved from San Diego to Atlanta, GA and even more recently, I moved to Athens.
